About Prempuri Ashram

As envisioned by its founding visionary, late Swami Shri Prempuriji Maharaj, the Prempuri Ashram was founded as a home for Spiritual, Intellectual and Physical development of  society.
Prempuri Ashram Trust was formed in February 1967 almost eight years after the passing away of Swami Shri Prempuriji Maharaj. Nine years thereafter, in 1975, Prempuri Adhyatma Vidya Bhavan, the building of the Ashram, was acquired and the Prempuri Ashram came into being.

Ever since its formation, the Ashram has been active in conducting innumerable, spiritual, religious, educationl and social programmes on a regular, almost day-to-day basis.
For over three decades, people from all walks of life irrespective of their religion, caste, creed and status in society have been coming to Prempuri Ashram to take part in various programs organized by the Ashram.
There is no charge for participation in any activity.
In addition to its main spiritual discourse program that is being conducted without a break of even a single day for over three decades now, the Ashram conducts activities that include , lectures on religion, devotional congregations and chanting of bhajans, Yoga Classes, Astrology classes, Personality Development courses, Relief & Aid programs, Free Medical Camps for the underprivileged who need eye care, cardiac treatment, dental treatment, cancer detection etc.

Activities are for various interest and age groups. For instance,  Mahila Mandal is for women, Visamo is for senior citizens, DivyaPath is for youth and Bal Sanskar Kendra is for children.

The Ashram is managed by a board of Trustees which includes renouned saints, scholars and prominent members of the society. The Ashram trustees make all effort to utilize the resources of the Ashram for the objectives outlined by H.H. Brahmaleen Swami Shri Prempuriji Maharaj.
