Bal Mahotsav 2012 is here! Already in our its 19th
year, we take great pride in the spirit, the fairness and the transparency
which has come to define the competition. We are pleased to invite you and your
students to one of the most competitive and prestigious inter-school
competitions in Mumbai.
What’s new
this year?
New completion such as Fun with Dots and play
Reading have been introduced. Poetry Recitation, a very popular event that
encourages impromptu performances, has also been re-introduced.
Form
Submission
We request you to nominate students for as
many competitions as possible so that your school can become eligible for the
Best School Trophy. This trophy is given to the school that excels in overall
performance which is measured by allotting points for wining individual/team
events.
Complete details about the various events and
the rules for each of them are enclosed herewith. Please read important
instructions carefully so that you can prepare well for the events. Also read
the rules for each event in detail especially in case of individual talents
where the participation is restricted to classical items only. We desire to
have very high quality of performances and we request you to assist us in
achieving the same.
The entry forms are enclosed herewith and the
same formats should be used. The forms must be attested by the School Principal
in the space provided. We will be unable to accept forms that are incomplete or
not duly authorized.. The forms must be sent to the following address:

Please note that the prize distribution will
be on 29th January 2012 at 10.00 a.m. onwards at Prempuri Ashram. Decision of
the judges will be final.

last date for submission of the forms is 15th January 2012
About the
Ashram
We are located at Babulnath, Chowpatty and
have the unique distinction of being the spiritual capital of South Mumbai.
Over 1,000 citizens attend activities at the ashram every day. The programs
range from spiritual and social to medical and cultural. The Ashram caters to
every section and demographic of the society. We have spiritual discourses in
Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and English. We have social programs that cater to
senior citizens, women, teenage girls and children. Our medical services
include yoga, free dispensaries for ayurveda, homeopathy, ozone therapy, magnet
therapy, acupressure and acupuncture. Lectures on issues that relate to
day-to-day life are very popular at the Ashram. We also have counseling
services for women. Participation in all these programs is free of cost and
open to all citizens irrespective of religion, caste and creed. Over 4,000 such
activities are conducted every single year.
